Assistant Coach Ken Klein

Coach Klein is in his 17th year (1992-present) with the Forester program. He serves as the head junior varsity coach and the goalie coach for the varsity team.

Four different Foresters have ranked among the top 10 in the nation in save percentage under Klein in the last six years, including the nation's leader in 2003-04. His players have recorded eight of the top 10 single-season save percentages and seven of the top 10 goals against averages in school history. Seven o fhis goalies have earned a total on nine All-Northern Collegiate Hockey Association honors, including a pair of First Team selections.

Klein is also involved in the Foresters' recruiting efforts, both directly and with talent evaluation.

Klein came to Lake Forest after two seasons (1990-92) as the head hockey coach at College of Dupage in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He guided the team to a third place national ranking in 1991 and a fifth place ranking in 1992. The previous season (1989-90), College of Dupage won the National Junior College Championship while Klein was an assistant coach.

Klein has also served as the head coach at Deerfield High School and an assistant at Glenbrook North High School and Evanston High School.
