Cody Brown Named Forester Athlete of the Week 
Sophomore netminder held SNC to one goal in 54 attempts 
  

Cody Brown leads the nation with a saves percentage of 95.0%.
LAKE FOREST, IL  For the second time this season Lake Forest College hockey player Cody Brown (Calgary, Alberta/Calgary Canucks) was named Forester Athlete of the Week. The sophomore goaltender came up big Saturday (January 18) in a 1-1 tie with the Green Knights of St. Norbert College, the nation's second-ranked team. 

St. Norbert entered the game averaging 5.6 goals per game and boasting a record of 16-1-1. But in sixty-five minutes of play, including a five-minute overtime, they mustered just one goal in 54 shot attempts. Brown's 53 saves were a career-high and included a glove save of an overtime shot from point-blank range. 

Brown's record is now 7-2-1 and he dropped his goals-against average to 1.79. He is currently ranked #1 in the nation with a saves percentage of 95.0%. 

The Forester Athlete of the Week is chosen by the Athletic Department on Thursdays.
