Seven Foresters Named to NCHA All-Academic Team
Wilson honored for the third time

Cory Wilson is a three-time NCHA All-Academic honoree.
LAKE FOREST, IL – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association released the 2005-06 NCHA All-Academic Team on Thursday (February 23) and seven Lake Forest College players made the list. A player must have a cumulative grade point average of 3.00 and be recommended by his head coach to make the list.

Senior forward Cory Wilson (Calgary, AB/Calgary Royals), a Business and Communications double-major, was one of seven players in the league to earn the honor for a third time.

Two-time honorees included junior defenseman Matt Forsyth (Calgary, AB/Calgary Royals), an Economics major, and junior forward Brian Lee (Calgary, AB/Calgary Royals), who is majoring in Business.

Four Foresters appeared on the list for the first time. Forwards Paul Cullen (Kirkland, QE/Millbrook School), Greg Ihnken (Peoria, IL/Chicago Freeze), and Blake O’Keefe (Almonte, ON/Gloucester Rangers) are majoring in International Business, Business, and Economics, respectively. Defenseman Kevin Russette (Amerstburg, ON/Leamington Flyers) is a History major.
