Drew Holman Named MWC Defensive Performer of the Week
Junior tied a school record with three interceptions

Drew Holman has intercepted 11 passes in his last 13 games.
LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College football player Drew Holman (Morris, IL/ Morris) was named Midwest Conference Defensive Performer of the Week Tuesday (October 28) for his efforts in the Foresters' 13-7 loss to Carroll College on Saturday (October 25).

Holman recorded five tackles, including three solos, and tied a school record with three interceptions. His first two picks ended consecutive Pioneer possessions during the second quarter. His third theft came at the Forester 26 yard line with just 4:08 remaining in the contest, which was tied 7-7 at the time.

The junior safety picked off a school record seven passes last year and earned Second Team All-Midwest Conference honors. The three interceptions on Saturday give him a team-high four this season. With 11 in his year-and-a-half with the team, he is just four shy of the school record for a career.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league's sports information directors.
