LAKE FOREST, Ill. - Lake Forest College football player Dan Carter (Arlington Heights, Ill./St. Viator) was named Midwest Conference Offensive Performer of the Week on Monday (October 1) for his performance in the Foresters’ 44-36 victory at Beloit College on Saturday (September 29).

Carter, a sophomore wide receiver, set career-highs with nine catches and 164 yards and became the sixth player in team history with three touchdown receptions in a single game. His scores came from 42, 27, and 21 yards out and helped the team turn a 14-0 deficit after one quarter into a 44-17 lead after three.

Carter has caught 26 passes on the season for a team-high 354 yards and five touchdowns. He now has 16 touchdown receptions in a year-and-a-half, just three shy of the Foresters’ career record.
