Casey Urlacher Named Third Team All-Region
One of 81 players honorees

LAKE FOREST, IL - Lake Forest College sophomore middle linebacker Casey Urlacher (Lake Bluff, IL/Lovington (NM)) has been selected to the Don Hansen Football Gazette NCAA Division III All-West Region football squad. He was named to the third team. 

The Football Gazette selects three teams of 27 players each (12 offense, 12 defense, and three specialists) for a total of 81 honorees. 

Urlacher, a First Team All-MWC pick, led the team with 116 tackles (48, 68). He added 14 tackles for loss (also tops on the team), two-and-a-half sacks, one forced fumble, and one recovered fumble, which he returned 55 yards for a touchdown. Urlacher finished second in the MWC with 105 tackles (47, 58).

Casey is the younger brother of Brian Urlacher of the Chicago Bears.

Lake Forest compiled a 3-7 overall and 3-6 Midwest Conference record in 2000 under first-year Head Coach Chad Eisele.
