Katie Snowden Named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week
Senior finished 25th of 212 runners at Midwest Collegiate Open

Lake Forest, Ill. - Lake Forest College cross country runner Katie Snowden (Toronto, Ontario/York Mills Collegiate Institution) was named Midwest Conference Performer of the Week on Tuesday (September 19) for her performance at the Midwest Collegiate Open on Saturday (September 16) at UW-Parkside.

Snowden, a senior, placed 25th out of 212 runners in the 5-kilometer race. She was the Foresters’ top finisher and helped the team finish ahead of three other league schools in eighth place. Her time of 19:57 is her second of the season under 20 minutes and matched the 13th-fastest mark in team history.

Midwest Conference Performers of the Week are selected by the league’s sports information director.
