For the first time since the middle of her sophomore season, senior Grace Schlafly (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) led the Forester women's team. Her 6-kilometer time of 27:03 on the challenging course was good for 39th place, two spots ahead of junior Ryann Freeman (Northfield, Minn./Northfield), who crossed the finish line three seconds later. Sophomore Amanda Glasgow (Wilmette, Ill./New Trier) was next on the team in 52nd place with a time of 27:42. Freshman Sarah Peluse (Buffalo Grove, Ill./Buffalo Grove) finished 55th in 28:00 and senior Hadley Skeffington-Vos (Minburn, Iowa/Adel-DeSoto-Minburn) was just a second behind Peluse. There were 126 runners in the race. The first Forester males to cross the finish line of the 8-kilometer course were junior Evan Piermont (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) and sophomore Kelsey Small (Wallingford, Conn./Notre Dame) in 63rd and 64th places, both with a time of 30:17. Sophomore Peter Sullivan (Lockport, Ill./Lockport) was next on the team in 79th with a time of 31:32. Senior David Ehrenreich (Deerfield, Ill./Deerfield) was 110th in 33:41 and junior Max Koenen (Racine, Wis./Prairie School) rounded out the squad's top five with a 117th-place time of 33:58. One hundred thirty-two runners completed the race. Select members of the team will finish up the season at the NCAA Division III Regional Meet on Saturday, November 14. The meet will be hosted by UW-Oshkosh at Lake Breeze Golf Course in Winneconne, Wisconsin, and will begin at 11:00 a.m.
