The first Forester female to cross the finish line was freshman Ryann Freeman (Northfield, Minn./Northfield). She placed 164th out of 266 runners with a 6-kilometer time of 25:06. Sophomore Grace Schlafly (Naperville, Ill./Naperville Central) was next on the team in 208th place with a time of 26:53. Junior Sarah Marrinan (Sauk Rapids, Minn./Cathedral) completed the course in 27:09 and in 211th place and freshman Brecklind Golovich-Keie (East Jordan, Mich./Charlevoix) was the next finisher just two seconds later. Freshman Joanne Michaud (Miami, Fla./Pembroke Pines) rounded out the top five in 242nd place in 28:49. Freshman Kahiye Hassan (Portland, Maine/Waynflete School) led the men’s team in every race this season and he placed 108th out of 258 runners with a season-best time of 26:35 on Saturday. It was the second-fastest 8-kilometer time in team history, just 19 seconds off the school record. Junior Andrew Hutchinson (Redwood City, Calif./Sequoia) was 156th with a career-best time of 27:34. Fellow junior Levi Paul (Austin, Minn./Governor Dummer) was next on the team with a 203rd-place time of 28:43. Freshman Evan Piermont (East Hampton, N.Y./East Hampton) was just two places behind Paul with a time of 28:49 and sophomore John Thies (Los Angeles, Calif./Saint Francis) finished next, just two seconds after Piermont.
