Benjamin Bienia '10
Ben Bienia is a freshman from Lemont, IL. He intends to major in Chemistry and Biology and minor in Music. He plays JV hockey for Lake Forest College and would like to study abroad in Australia. His career goal is to become a MD/PhD.
Elizabeth Birnbaum '08
Elizabeth Birnbaum is a junior from Skokie, IL. She is majoring in Psychology and Art History and getting a minor in Women's and Gender Studies. She is the e.Team chair of research and marketing and was the former president of the Art Club. She has been a research technician for Professor Glassman in Psychology and Neuroscience and she has interned at the ATG Trust Company and Victim-Witness Assistance Program. She has studied abroad in Florence and London and does not currently know what she wants to do after she graduates.
Shaun Davis '09
Shaun Davis is a sophomore from Shoreview, MN. He is majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. This summer he worked in Dr. Kirk's lab and would possibly like to work in a research or medical lab in his future. Shaun is also a member of SAACS and Ambasadors.
Elizabeth Dean '09
Elizabeth Dean is a sophomore from Menquon, WI double majoring in biology and politics with a minor in chemistry. She works in the Dean of Faculty office and is a pharmacy assistant at a veterinary clinic near her home. She studied marine biology in Hawaii during the summer of 2004 and plans to become a veterinarian.
Mohammed Ejaz Ali '10
Mohammed Ejaz Ali is a freshman from Skokie, IL. He intends to double major in biology and chemistry while getting a minor in art. He is active in GA as well as future-health professionals. He would like to become a doctor, although he is not sure what specific field he would like to go into.
Joshua Haas '08
Joshua Haas is a junior from Dunlap, IL. majoring in Biology and Economics. His major extra-curricular activities include Rugby and GA and last summer he was a lab assistant for Dr. Gordon. He intends to pursue a career in foreign trading.
Katherine Hampton '06
Katie Hampton graduated with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. While she attended school here she was a writing center tutor and she also conducted research on guppy polymorphism with Dr. Anne Houde. Currently she is working for Dade Behring as a reagent representative.
Ethan Helm '07
Ethan Helm is a senior from Bryant, AR with a major in biology as well as an independent scholar: an integrated approach to disease. His major extra-curricular activites include students educating students and WMXM, the Lake Forest College Radio. As a freshman he worked as a Richter Scholar in Dr. Light's lab. He has studied abroad in Kenya and he would like to pursue a career as a pediatric oncologist or an infectious disease doctor.
Lisa Jeziorny’07
Lisa Jeziorny is a Lake Forest College Senior from Orland Park, IL majoring in biology and pursuing a pre-health curriculum. She is scholar athlete participating in two NCAA Division III sports, softball and handball and is captain of each. Lisa intends to pursue a degree in optometry after graduation.
Ashley Johnson '07
Ashley Johnson is a senior from Oregon, WI majoring in biology with a minor in chemistry. She is involved in ResLife and MOOS on campus and she has worked in the UW-Madison lab with Dr. Ron Magness in the prenatal research lab. Also, she was a Richter scholar with Dr. DelNegro. She would like to pursue a goal as a physician's assistant.
Bryan Kratz '07
Bryan Kratz is a senior from Kildeer, IL. He is majoring in Chemistry and is involved in SAACS. As part of a summer program he studied arts and humanities across several countries of Northern Europe. Bryan has also shadowed an anesthesiologist in the O.R. He would like to get an MD and specialize in anesthesiology or plastic surgery and/or get a PhD in biochemistry or organic chemistry.

Krista Kusinski is a junior from Newbury, NH. She is a biology major concentrating in pre-health. He major extra-curricular activities include the Lake Forest College varsity women's soccer team and Delta Gamma. She would like to pursue a career as a nurse practitioner.

Ben Larsen is a senior from Oconomowoc, WI. He is majoring in biology while being involved with the varsity tennis team and Tri-beta, the biological honor society. He worked in Dr. Gordon's lab for two years and this past summer he studied abroad at the Gerace Research Station in San Salvador, Bahamas under the direction of Dr. James Haynes. He intends to become a radiologist.

Stephanne Levin is a sophomore from Northbrook, IL majoring in Biology. As a Richter Scholar she studied animal behavior with Professor Bob Glassman. For the past year and a half she has been working in a veterinary clinic and would like to pursue a career as a veterinarian.

Michelle McKinzey is from Des Moines, IA. She majored in Biology and English and while getting a minor in Chemistry. Besides Eukaryon she is also actively involved as a peer teacher for non majors and Tri-beta biological honor society. She plans to pursue a career in scientific journalism and wants to work as an editor for a science journal.
Shruti Pore '08
Shruti Pore is from Gurnee, IL and is majoring in Biology and French. She is involved in student government and Circle K. In the summers of 2005 and 2006 she worked in Dr. Light’s lab. She has worked as scene shop manager for the Lake Forest College theater and has interned at the International Herald Tribune in Paris. She is interested in dentistry.

Jason Prendergast is a sophomore from Dixon, IL. He is getting a major in Business and a minor in Latin American Studies. He would like to study abroad in Spain or Latin America and he plans to pursue a career in Sports Management after attending graduate school.
Lorraine Scanlon '08
Lorraine Scanlon is a junior from Zion, IL. She is working towards a major in Biology and a minor in Music. Her major activities on campus include Lake Forest College Varsity Volleyball and Delta Gamma. As of now she does not know what she wants to do after she graduates.
Solmaz Shadman '08
Solmaz Shadman is a junior from Schaumburg, IL. She is majoring in Biology with an emphasis on Premed. She has done research at the Northwestern Medical School and has worked at the Lake Forest Hospital. After graduation she intends to go to Medical School.
Alina Spivak ’07
Alina Spivak calls the city of Moscow, Russia her home. She is majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry. In her Junior and Senior years of high school she worked at VIROTEK/EFOORA on research and development of an ELISA assay for the HIV virus. In the summer of 2005, she conducted research in the field of cell biology studying regulatory volume decrease in alligator erythrocytes. On campus, she is the Vice President of Future Health Professionals. She plans to go to medical school after college.
Mithaq Vahedi '08
Mithaq Vahedi is a junior from New Delhi, India. His intended majors are Biology and Chemistry and possibly a minor in English. He is an RA, and a member of the Baha'i Campus Association. Mithaq worked with Dr. DebBurman in the summer of 2005 as a Richter Scholar. He aims to get an MD following his graduation from Lake Forest College.

Stephanie Valtierra is a junior from Libertyville, IL. She is majoring in Biology and getting a minor in Chemistry. She has conducted summer research at Northwestern University with Dr. Erik Sontheimer and she is unsure whether she would like to go to medical or graduate school in biology after graduation.
Pete Wisnieff '10
Pete Wisnieff is a freshman from Cary, IL who plans to major in Psychology and Business. His major extra-curricular activity is JV hockey and he is as of yet undecided in his career goal.
Michael White ’07
Michael White is a senior from Westminster, Colorado majoring in Biology. He is the president of Beta Beta Beta and is also a peer teacher for Cell and Molecular Biology. He has worked at Rosalind Franklin on Cystic Fibrosis as well as working here at Lake Forest with Parkinson's Disease. After graduation he intends to go to medical school to become a physician.

Chloe Wormser graduated last year with a major in biology and a minor in chemistry. She worked in Dr. Light's lab studying cell volume regulation in red blood cells. She is currently working at a veterinary clinic to gain experience for veterinarian school as she would like to study veterinary medicine.
