As a member of the Illinois Small College Placement Association, Lake Forest College students can participate in annual career fairs including Career Fest and the Spring Virtual Career Fair. Forester Internship Week
Forester Internship Week is designed to connect students, alumni and employers through a weeklong series of career themed events, workshops, information sessions, and on-campus recruiting.
Speed networking gives students, alumni, employers, and friends of the college an opportunity to network and exchange information through computer matched 5-minute conversations.
The Mentor Program
Students and alumni are matched for a one-year-long relationship based on career interests.
Lake Forest College alumni visit campus to speak about career and professional experiences. The Career Advancement Center works with student groups and faculty to coordinate these events, which are often open to the entire student body.
Alumni volunteers hold mock interviews on campus and over the phone. Students get valuable feedback on their interviewing skills and resume. A great way to prepare for your job or internship search!
