Jade Barlett '08 flings flour on Assistant Professor of Philosophy Steve Tammelleo, who poses as a historical figure to highlight the notion that the conventional history of Western civilization has often been accused on being the history of "dead white men."

Through this interactive performance, he and Assistant Professor Eli Robb (who stood on the other side of Student Commons dress as another DWM) want students to question history by plastering them wtih flour. "This act intends to encourage a dynamic interrogation of our relationship to the past," states a placard next to Tammelleo.
