Lake Forest College is set to embark on a major renovation of the Alumni Memorial Field House. As most fans will agree, the facility needs a lot of work. At a projected cost of $4.5 million, the renovated rink will include a number of needed upgrades to make playing – and watching – Forester hockey a much better experience for all. Most importantly, the improvements will give us another 20 years of life for the rink, thus ensuring a continuation of a long tradition of on-campus ice hockey at the College.
Features of the renovated rink:
The College must raise $2.25 million from hockey alumni, parents, and fans to fund this project. The College is working to get the other half of the funds through outside sources. Help us make this important step by giving generously to the Home Ice Advantage Campaign.
Each contributor’s name will appear on the online donors list, and for gifts of $500 and over the donor will receive a specially made Foresters Home Ice Advantage hockey puck.
For more information, contact Rich Bartolozzi at 847-735-6016 or Sue Abderholden at 847-735-6176.
