This spring, Assistant Professor of Anthropology and Sociology Holly Swyers and students in one of her courses coordinated with the Lake Forest-Lake Bluff Historical Society to retrace a legendary golf course in Lake Forest built in 1925 by former advertising pioneer Albert Lasker. The project was featured in a
June 26 Chicago Tribune article.
The class project was also featured in the
most recent issue of Spectrum, the College's alumni magazine.
Above, students talk with residents who live on the former Lasker estate, where the golf course once existed.
