Quintet Attacca: Music by Chicago composers

Woodwind Quintet No. 2 (1978)

Quintet Attacca, Grand Prize Winners of the 2002 Fischoff National Chamber Music Competition, is one of Chicago’s most dynamic chamber music ensembles. The quintet has played in venues across the Midwest, with extensive programming in Chicago. In the summer of 2003, the tour culminated with the quintet’s European debut as part of Italy’s Emilia Romagna Festival. During the 2004-2005 season, Quintet Attacca appeared on the Mostly Music series at Northeastern Illinois University, the Waukegan (IL) Chamber Music Society, and the Midwinter Music series. In January 2005 they made their New York debut on the Schneider Concerts Chamber Music Series at The New School.

Lake Forest College is a national liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,400 students representing 47states and 54 countries.
