Adding Lake Forest to your FAFSA
If you have completed the Free Application for Federal Student Aid but did not release the data to Lake Forest, you must add us to the list of colleges before we can receive your FAFA results and determine your eligibility for aid.
To complete this process in the shortest amount of time, you must have a “PIN” to allow the change to be made. If you do not already have a PIN, go to the PIN Home Page, then follow the steps below.
- Go to www.fafsa.gov and log in.
- Click on the “Make FAFSA Corrections” link
- Click on the words “School Selection” near the top of the screen.
- Follow the prompts to add or delete a school.
- Our Federal School Code is 001706.
- Enter your housing plans.
- Continue until you see confirmation that the change was submitted.
