Helping to build stronger departments

The services provided by Career Services show students the diversity of academic and professional opportunities open to them by becoming a major in your department. In addition, once students have decided to major in your department, Career Services is also available to assist them in exploring career paths within their field of study.

Assisting in all stages of the advisory process

From helping students to explore their interests, to major selection, to obtaining an internship, to applying to graduate schools, Career Services is able to supplement your efforts with our extensive body of specialized resources and experienced staff.

Making use of outside resources

Career Services can provide valuable assistance in the organization of career events, small panel discussions, and guest lectures by alumni and/or professionals, all of which seek to benefit both your department as a whole, and the students therein.

Referring Students

If students come to you with career concerns, please tell them about our services! We strongly encourage students to make an appointment before coming in, but we will not turn anyone away. You can either have students call or stop by, or you can bring them by the offices yourself between the hours of 8:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday.
