Career Services helps to prepare students for life after college by helping them clarify interests, values and personality traits and by teaching them the skills to succeed in the internship, job and graduate school search. We offer individualized career counseling to students and alumni and offer comprehensive career related programming. Our goal is to foster the development of long lasting professional relationships with alumni and employers as well as to prepare students for success throughout their evolving careers.

Where To Start?
The best way to use this website is click on the lefthand links that best 'fit' you.  Students would click on 'students' and then navigate through 'Career Exploration' or 'Job Search'.  Employers would use the same method.

How To Make An Appointment
It is best to call ahead for an appointment by dialing 847-735-5235 and ask to speak with a Career Counselor.  Please have the following ready when scheduling your appointment:
     1.  Your name, class year, phone number
     2.  What would you like help with in the appointment

Before Your Appointment
Please be ready to tell your Counselor:
     1.  What have you done (if anything) so far?  
     2.  What are you willing to do to reach your goal?  (How much time are you willing to set aside?)
     3.  What have you read on our website that was helpful?  Please peruse our website BEFORE YOU COME IN and read over the sections that are most relevant to your situation.  (i.e. - Choosing a major, job search, researching employers)
