Membership Club:
Please note that Membership Club dues do not provide direct financial
support to Lake Forest College athletic programs; they simply help keep
the organization running and make it possible for you to be eligible for
certain privileges. In accordance with the 1993 tax law, these dues are
not tax deductible because you will be receiving goods or services in exchange
for payment.
Individual $30
Individual membership entitles you to the privileges stated on the
previous
page.
Family $50
Family membership entitles you to exactly the same privileges -- you
receive two promotional gifts, one subscription to the newsletter, etc.,
but it makes sense if you have two or more people in your family who would
like to attend athletic events.
Gold $100
Gold members receive the same privileges as a family membership plus
an additional annual promotional item; i.e. pen set, wind shirt.
Contributors' Club:
A portion of these membership dues are tax deductible as the contributions
beyond Gold Club membership will provide direct financial support to special
projects that enhance the College's athletic programs and facilities. This
membership includes the same benefits stated in the Gold Membership plus:
A Forester "Contributors" pin
An invitation to a special event hosted by the athletic director
An invitation to the annual Hall of Fame Banquet/Reception
The first $100 of each category will go directly to support of the
F.A.N. Club. The College will issue a receipt for the amount given in excess
of the $100 Gold Membership fee.
