The Men's Rugby Club at Lake Forest College is the most successful club on campus. Over the last decade, the Club has had five undefeated seasons, boasts a 47-12-3 record, and has wins over most major universities in the state of Illinois. The Club won the Tournament of Champions in 2005 and was the runner-up in 2006 and 2008. With an emphasis on safety, proper technical rugby, and fitness, the Club has earned a reputation of producing excellent rugby players, evidenced by its players' participation in all-star teams from the collegiate level all the way up to the U.S. National Team. At the beginning of each semester there is an opportunity for interested students to sign up for any club sport at what is called the Involvement Fair.  If a student decides to come to Lake Forest he/she can attend the Fair in the fall and/or spring and sign up for a club sport then.  The Fair takes place in or behind Commons, depending on weather, within the first two weeks of classes.  First-year students do not need to do anything before arriving at Lake Forest in order to participate in club sports.
