Summer Sessions > General Information

The campus is at its summer best, and the pace seems more relaxed than usual, but the four-credit courses are as demanding as ever. Taught by regular faculty in the arts, humanities, and sciences, they are open to college students, advanced secondary-school students, and community residents.


Registration for Session I begins Monday, March 17, and ends Tuesday, May 6, 2008

Registration for Session II begins Monday, March 17, and ends Tuesday, May 27, 2008

Lake Forest College reserves the right to cancel courses for which there is insufficient enrollment.

Admission to Summer Session:
Lake Forest College Summer Session is open to college students, advanced high school students, and community residents. Admission to Summer Session does not constitute admission to the regular program at Lake Forest College. If you are interested in enrolling as a regular student at Lake Forest College, contact the Admissions Office.

Course Credits:
Lake Forest College courses are four semester credit hours. A full load in Summer Session I is one course. A full load in Summer Session II is two courses.

Courses for Secondary-School Students:
All of the 100- and 200-level courses in Summer Session II may be taken by graduating secondary-school seniors and qualified juniors.

Course Changes and Withdrawals, Tuition Refunds, Transcripts and Grades are the same as indicated in the Lake Forest College Catalog for the academic year.
