Summer Internships

Students who plan on participating in a summer internship should begin planning early. They may contact Rand Smith, associate dean of faculty and director of internships, at rsmith@lakeforest.edu 847-735-5710. The deadline for registering for a summer internship is May 8. Internship request forms are available in the Office of the Registrar.

Tuition

For summer course credit (including internships): $3,300

QFull-time first-year students 2011-2012 at fewer than 8 credits: $400

Sophomore students with 4 semesters at the College and with fewer than 16 credits: $400

Independent Studies/ACM Summer programs: $4,700 per course credit.

Please note: First-Year students entering in August 2011 may be eligible to take a course in the first session of summer school (May 15-June 05) for the discounted tuition of $400. This includes Math 110 (May 15-June 18). To qualify for this discount those students must have originally been registered full-time in each semester of the 2011-12 academic year, but have completed fewer than eight credits.

Sophomores who have completed four semesters at the College and who have completed fewer than sixteen credits are eligible to take a course in the first session of summer school (May 15-June 05) for the discounted tuition of $400. This includes Math 110 (May 15-June 18).

Registration for Session I begins Monday, March 19 and ends Tuesday, May 8.

Registration for Session II begins Monday, March 19 and ends Wednesday, May 30.
