Project Explore > Dates, Times, and Cost The three-week program begins at 9:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2005 and continues until 12:00 p.m. Friday, July 1, 2005. Students will stay in Lake Forest College residence halls Monday-Thursday nights, going home on weekends. They will have their meals in the College's cafeteria. All activities will be supervised by certified teachers and qualified Lake Forest College students. COSTS: The cost for the three-week residential program is $950.00 per student. This includes housing, three meals per day when students are in residence, use of the College's academic and recreational facilities, field trips, and all laboratory fees. A number of full and partial scholarships are available for those with demonstrated need. ELIGIBILITY: Boys and girls entering grade 6, 7, or 8 in the fall of 2005, who have above average abilities, high levels of curiosity, and who are identified by teachers as "talented" (though not necessarily identified as "gifted") are eligible. A diverse group of students will come from towns such as Buffalo Grove, Lake Bluff, Vernon Hills, Libertyville, Highland Park, Highwood, North Chicago, and Waukegan. |
