Theater > Kennedy Center for American College Theater Festival

Since 2008, Lake Forest College has participated in the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival (KCACTF).  Started in 1969, KCACTF is a national theater program involving 18,000 students from colleges and universities nationwide which has served as a catalyst in improving the quality of college theater in the United States.  By participating in the festival, our department is eligible to have a regional representative come to our shows to respond to our work, and our students are eligible to compete at the regional conference festival each January.
