Religion Major
The Religion major requires nine courses, including:
- Four introductory courses exploring specific religious communities (Religion 210-216), consisting of two courses from the Abrahamic traditions (Judaism, Christianity, Islam) and two courses from the Asian traditions (Hinduism, Buddhism, Chinese Religions)
- Religion 300: Approaches to the Study of Religion
- Three elective courses, at least one at the 300-level. Only one 100-level elective may count toward the major.
- Research project (generally one credit) or senior thesis (generally two credits).
Religion minor
The Religion minor requires six courses, including:
- Three courses in religious communities (Religion 210-216), at least one each from the Abrahamic and Asian traditions.
