Affiliations

Lake Forest College places many students in neighboring health professional schools, such as Northwestern University, Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, Rush University, Loyola University, and University of Chicago.  However, we have two new affiliations that will help certain students for specific careers at the following institutions.

Rush University College of Nursing

An affiliation has been established between Lake Forest College and Rush University Medical Center for the Generalist Entry Master (GEM) with a focus in Clinical Leadership. Students will complete four-years at Lake Forest College before beginning the Master’s Program in Nursing at Rush.  Students having achieved a GPA of 3.0 in the prerequisite courses among other qualifications, may be recommended by Lake Forest College Health Professions Advisory Committee (HPAC) to the Rush Nursing program. These students will be admitted to the Rush Nursing program after having successfully completed an interview with Rush. The Rush Nursing School is one of the best of its kind in the country!
