Medical and other professional schools seek students possessing solid foundations in natural sciences who also have a good distribution of courses in the social sciences and humanities. They want students with a broad background of general information who can deal readily with abstract ideas and express themselves with both oral and written clarity.
Health Professions students may major in any department of the College. However, they should have a strong interest in and aptitude for science.
