ACM Nick Adams Short Story Contest
2009 Guidelines and Information
for Campus English Departments

  1. Entrants must be enrolled students in good standing but need not be English majors or enrolled in an English course.
  2. Students may enter a maximum of two stories into the contest.
  3. Submitted stories cannot have been published off-campus.
  4. Each manuscript is limited to 10,000 words
  5. Each submission should include a removable title page or cover sheet with the author’s name, campus name (Lake Forest College), and home address. The title of the story must also appear on the first page of the story itself. The author’s name should only appear on the cover sheet.
  6. Turn in your entries to Fran Pease in the administrative office of Carnegie Hall by 3 PM on Thursday, February 26.
