Economics-Business Internships

An academic Economics-Business Internship provides hands-on experience using theoretical knowledge gained in Economics and Business classes. In the written work required for the internship, students examine how business practices and decisions are grounded in an understanding of economics and analytical business studies. Internships provide an opportunity to supplement academic training with work experience in the field. Internship may not be a continuation of summer or part-time employment Interns may not be supervised by family members or anyone in turn supervised by family members

Deadlines:

Deadlines for registering for internships are:

  • November 10 for a Spring Internship
  • April 10 for a Fall Internship
  • March 20 for a Summer Internship

Prerequisites:

  • Junior or Senior in good academic standing
  • Completion of Economics 110 with a grade of C- or better
  • Completion of appropriate Finance, Accounting, or Marketing courses
