The Brown Technology Resource Center  > Equipment

The Brown Technology Resource Center houses six pcs and three macs for training sessions or individual use. Two pcs and one mac station are available for video editing, including converting miniDV and VHS tape to digital format, and DVD burning. Please consult staff sitting at these stations when you need to edit video. The other six stations each have a scanner attached, including two feed scanners as well as film and slide scanners. For more information, please consult the equipment list for the type and location of available equipment. All equipment is available on a walk-in basis, but to guarantee access to one of the video stations and staff support, there is a sign-up sheet.

Headsets, card readers, and other peripherals are available for in-room use on a check-out basis. Please turn in your I.D. and have a staff member fill out the yellow equipment sign-out sheet for what you are borrowing.
