Getting Help

Dorm Network Activation (SNAP program)
Starting Saturday, August 19, SNAP staff and students will help students moving into dorms with getting their computers connected to the campus network. Look for the SNAP table in the Nollen lobby, or see your Residential Assistant (RA) for more details. For North and Middle campus, there will be a table in Donnelley and Lee Library where students can check out hubs and get help.

Computer Repairs
Lake Forest College does not offer a repair service for student computers. Sales and service for major computer brands can be found in nearby Vernon Hills. The College shuttle bus makes a stop at the CDW Repair Center, an authorized service center for many computer brands.

Lab and Copier Assistant Desk (x6080)
This desk is staffed by student workers who can help with the lab computers and photocopiers. The Lab and Copier Assistant desk is staffed during the hours that the library is open.

Help Desk (x3456 on campus. Off campus, call 847-234-3100 and ask for the Help Desk)
The LIT Help Desk is available 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday to assist students with using their computers on campus. Staff can reset passwords, troubleshoot connection problems, and more.
