Debra Yurenka > Biographical Sketch

Debra Yurenka earned a Bachelor of Arts in economics and a Bachelor of Music from the University of Michigan, an MBA in finance and econometrics from the University of Chicago Graduate School of Business, and a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago. Professor Yurenka has worked in investment management for LaSalle Investment Management, a real estate investment firm, and for Putnam Investments. Her current research focuses on how nonprofit organizations compete with one another for charitable contributions. She will be teaching courses in microeconomics, finance, and public finance.
