Eli Robb > Biographical Sketch

Eli Robb is a California native who has always been interested in art, among many other subjects. In 1994 Eli received his B.A. in Art Practice with honors from the University of California at Berkeley. He enjoyed a brief career as an elementary school teacher, then as a carpenter as well as a practicing artist in Oakland, CA until moving to Chicago in 2001 after traveling the world to attend weddings. He received his M.F.A. from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 2003 and is currently Assistant Professor of Art at Lake Forest College. Eli has recently exhibited sculpture, video and drawings at Fraction Workspace in Chicago, installation and performance work at Sonnenschein Gallery in Lake Forest, sculpture and digital media at ,40000 Gallery in Chicago and installation at Gahlberg Gallery in Glen Ellyn.
