Dr. Carl-Erik Wikdahl, Energikommunikation AB (Sweden)
Born on 14th of October 1932. Married to Gudrun who is working as an artist. They have four children.
1957, Masters Degree at the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
1957 to 1968, working with reactor physics experiments at Studsvik, the Swedish National Nuclear Laboratory near the town of Nyköping
1968 – 1979, working at the operation department of OKG AB (owner of the Oskarshamn Nuclear Power Plant with three nuclear power units). Responsible for reactor core management, radiation protection and the nuclear chemistry laboratories.
1979 – 1988, working at the head office of OKG AB in Stockholm. VP with responsibility for communication and public affairs.
Since 1988 working as a free consultant and owner of the consulting company Energikommunikation AB at Nyköping.
Since 1986 member of the Analysis Group. The Analysis Group is connected to KSU, the Nuclear Training and Safety Centre, which is owned by the utilities operating nuclear power in Sweden. The Analysis Group collects and analyses data concerning points raised in the public debate on reactor safety, radiation protection, radiobiology and research into risks. Carl-Erik Wikdahl has published reports about reactor safety, uranium as a nuclear fuel and the public acceptance of nuclear power. See www.analys.se.
