As one of the nation’s most innovative liberal arts colleges, students come from all over the world to study at Lake Forest College. Our Hire a Forester! program connects these capable students with alumni and employers looking to hire for internships and full-time positions.
Post an internship or job to our Online Career Center
Simply select “Register and Post a Job” to make your opportunity visible to our students. Interested in connecting with over 10,000 students from Illinois through our consortium, the Illinois Small College Placement Association? You can also post to the ISCPA Online Career Center - a separate system. Both options are free to employers.
Employers posting to Lake Forest College must follow these guidelines:
- Positions must have a base salary (not entirely commission-based)
- Third party recruiters must disclose the company they are recruiting for
- Employers are expected to follow NACE professional and ethical guidelines

There are a variety of on and off campus events that can give you access to Lake Forest College students. Contact the Career Advancement Center at 847-735-5235 with questions or to register!
- Speed Networking: Modeled after speed dating; an easy and free way to find job and internship candidates if you are hiring.
- Fall Interview Day: An opportunity to interview for business, accounting and computer science positions.
- Career Fairs: Lake Forest College works with Illinois ISCPA to provide career fairs including CareerFest and TeacherFest, which are targeted at liberal arts and education majors.
