Lake Forest train station The train station is a 15-minute walk away in downtown Lake Forest and provides a direct connection to Chicago. Maps and schedules are available in the Center for Chicago Programs, which provides discounted train passes to Chicago. The Center also offers trips to help students become more familiar with public transportation, museums, entertainment options, ethnic neighborhoods, and other activities in the city.
