Middle Campus main entrance Welcome to Lake Forest College. This is our main entrance, which sits at the corner of Sheridan and College roads. Beautiful wooded ravines separate the 107-acre campus into three areas - North, Middle, and South campuses. Each campus has a mix of residence halls, academic buildings, offices, and recreational spaces. Forester Fact Founded in 1857, the College was established as an institution of higher learning near Chicago. It is now home to nearly 1,400 students from 44 states and 69 countries.
