Community preparing for Gates Center Day of Service
Hundreds of Foresters and friends gathered for last year's event
Please check out photos from the day at sites around the area.
For the second consecutive year, the Lake Forest College community – students, faculty, staff, alumni, and friends – visited dozens of sites across Chicagoland to engage in a multitude of service projects. The endeavor, called The Christine and John S. Gates Center Day of Service, took place on Saturday, September 27.
"This event truly exemplifies the College's dedication to service," said Director of the John and Christine Gates Center for Leadership and Personal Growth, Chris Waugh. "We hope Foresters will reach out in the same way they did last year, with nearly 600 participants assisting with projects throughout the area."
