Forest, Ill.— The Department of Music at Lake Forest College will present a concert of band and percussion music on Thursday, April 15 at 7:30 pm in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel. The Chapel is located on the College’s Middle Campus. The public is invited to attend the concert free of charge. A reception will follow the performance. The Lake Forest College and Community Band, directed by Debbie Knowles, will perform a number of works, including English Folk Song Suite by Ralph Vaughan Williams. The newly formed student percussion ensemble will also perform. Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,300 students representing 46 states and 50 other countries.
