Band and Jazz Ensemble Lake Forest, Ill.— The Lake Forest College Department of Music will present a concert of music for Band and Jazz Ensemble on Thursday, February 26 at 7:30 pm. The concert will be held in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on the campus of Lake Forest College at College and Sheridan Roads. The public is invited to attend. There is no charge for admission. The Band, under the direction of Deborah Knowles, will perform music by John Williams, John Higgins and others. The Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Mitch Paliga, will perform the music of Jerome Kern, Charles Mingus, Chick Corea, and the standards, Willow Weep For Me and All the Things You Are. A reception will follow the concert. Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,300 students representing 46 states and 50 other countries.
