Lake Forest, Ill.—Second City alum Sue Gillan and veteran Chicago improviser Lillian Frances present an improvisational comedy performance titled, “Calendar Girls” at Lake Forest College on Monday, February 16 at 6 p.m. in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel. The performance is open to the public and is free of charge. For more information please call 847-735-6010. “Calendar Girls” has been well-received at Second City in Chicago and in Los Angeles, and Frances and Gillan have received rave reviews. “Lillian Frances and Sue Gillan perform…like an accomplished pair of figure skaters, dazzling us both with their powerful moves and with their grace and teamwork in executing them,” -- Chicago Sun-Times. “Frances and Gillan knocked the stuffing out of me the other night…creating a fully improvised one-act that was beautifully structured, filled with interesting characters, and entertaining.” -- Jack Helbig, Chicago Reader Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago.
