Lake Forest, Ill.— Lake Forest College Department of Music will present a piano recital by JungOk Paik Lee on Monday, January 26 at 7:30 pm in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel. The performance will include works by Bach, Beethoven, Copland and Chopin. The concert is free and open to the public. A native of South Korea, Ms. Lee began her piano studies at age 5. At the age of 14 she won first place in her age group in the national piano competition sponsored by the Korean Artists Association. She received her Bachelor of Music degree in piano performance from North Park University and a Master of Music degree from Northwestern University. Ms. Lee has been music director of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Vernon Hills since 1991 and is currently the staff accompanist for the Lake Forest College Choir and on the faculty of North Park University and the Creative Arts Center in Winnetka. Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,300 students representing 46 states and 50 other countries.
