Forester Singers Present a Holiday Concert Lake Forest, Ill.—On Tuesday, December 9 at 7:30 pm, the Lake Forest College Chamber Orchestra, Chorus, and Forester Singers will perform a holiday concert in Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on the College’s Middle Campus, near the intersection of College and Sheridan roads. The concert is free and open to the public. A reception will follow the performance. For more information please contact 847-735-6010. The Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Rami Levin, will perform Fanfare for the Common Cold by P. D. Q. Bach, a movement from Mozart Serenade for the Winds #11 in Eb Major, Christmas Concerto Op. 6 No. 8 by Arcangelo Corelli, and Water Music Suite by George Frederic Handel. The Chorus, directed by Kirk-Evan Billet, will perform music with the theme of “Peace on Earth,” including a 17th century song, “I Am For Peace,” by John Amner. The Forester Singers will also perform. Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,330 students representing 46 states and 50 other countries.
