Unraveling the Mysteries: Brain Awareness Week

Lake Forest, Ill.—The Biology Department at Lake Forest College sponsors “Unraveling the Mysteries: Brain Awareness Week” from Monday, November 17 through Friday, November 21. Events include informational sessions for the College community and public lectures.

Events open to the public will be held on Thursday, November 20 and Friday, November 21. For more information please call 847-735-6010.

·Thursday, November 20 from Noon-3 p.m. in Meyer Auditorium
“Medical Advances in the Areas of Emotions, Language, and Memory,” presented by students of Biology 346.

·Thursday, November 20 from 6:30 –8:30 p.m. in Meyer Auditorium
“Mind, Brain, and Behavior Forum”
Community discussion by faculty engaged in Neuroscience and Philosophy of the Mind research.

·Friday, November 21 at 8 p.m. in McCormick Auditorium
The Galileo Players, a Chicago-based Improv Group who combine scientific awareness and comedy.
