Bayard Fiction Reading

Lake Forest, Ill.—Lake Forest College will host fiction writer, Bayard, on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 p.m. in Room 300 of Carnegie Hall, located on the northeast side of the College’s Middle Campus. The reading is part of the “On the Run Reading Series.” For more information please contact 847-735-6010.

Bayard, Happy literary journal founder and editor, has seen close to two hundred of his stories published in literary journals as far from home as Australia, New Zealand, Japan, the United Kingdom, Ireland, and France, and as close to home as Canada and Wisconsin. At home, Bayard is much prized and widely published, and has been nominated eight times for the Pushcart Prize.

The event is free and open to the public. The College’s English and American Studies departments, and the Writing Center will sponsor the reading.

Lake Forest College is a private, liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The college has 1,330 students representing 46 states and 50 other countries.
