Transcending National Boundaries through Music
Chorus and Chamber Orchestra Perform

Lake Forest, Ill.—The Lake Forest College Chorus and Chamber Orchestra will present a joint concert on Tuesday, October 14 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel, located on the College’s Middle Campus, near the intersection of College and Sheridan roads.

As part of a year-long series of events at the College, the vocal portion of the program, under the direction of Kirk-Evan Billet, will present music transcending national boundaries and engaging a theme of relations among the world’s peoples. Singing in several languages, including Arabic, the Chorus and Forester singers will offer pieces originating in West Asia, South Africa, and Latin America.

The Chamber Orchestra, under the direction of Rami Levin, will perform the Jupiter Symphony, by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart.
