A presentation by novelist Gail Tsukiyama Lake Forest, Ill.--Lake Forest College, the Ragdale Foundation and the Sara Lee Foundation invite the public to a lecture titled "A Tapestry of Voices: Asian-American Writing Today," presented by noted author Gail Tsukiyama, on Thursday, September 25 at 7:30 p.m. in the Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel on the Middle Campus of Lake Forest College. The Ragdale Foundation and the Sara Lee Foundation are exclusive sponsors of Ms. Tsukiyama who is Ragdale's first National Invitational Fellow. The presentation is free and open to the public. Enter the campus through the main gates, at the intersection of College and Sheridan roads. Ms. Tsukiyama's novels include Women of the Silk; The Samurai's Garden; Night of Many Dreams; The Language of Threads; and most recently, Dreaming Water. A resident of the San Francisco Bay Area, she is a part-time lecturer in Creative Writing at San Francisco State University, and a freelance book reviewer for the San Francisco Chronicle.
