Garrick Players Present Playwrights-In-Progress XXII
at the Tony-Award winning Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago


Lake Forest, Ill.-The Garrick Players of Lake Forest College will present Playwrights-In-Progress XXII (PiPs) at the Tony-Award winning Victory Gardens Theater in Chicago on Sunday, April 6 at 7:30 p.m. PiPs is an annual student-run and produced festival featuring new plays written by student playwrights, and creative artists.

At the Victory Gardens Theater, students will participate in workshops, showcase their talents in the Chicago theater community and each PiPs creative team will receive an in-depth post-performance examination of their work by a theater professional.

PiPs XXII will feature seven new pieces: Appalled, The Unfathomable, Gummy Worms, These Four Walls, The Misadventures of John, Fall, and We the People. Respectively, this year’s playwrights are: Jonathan Yip ’03, Mike Wakcher ’06, Lydia Uhlir ’06, Chad Marqui ’04, Amber Marie Birch ’03, Ken Dallmeyer ’04, and Jermeitrik Christian ’03.
