Lake Forest, Ill— The Lake Forest College Department of Music presents a piano-vocal recital on Friday, March 21 at 7:30 p.m.. Kathleen Otterson, mezzo-soprano, and Jamie Schmidt, piano, will perform works by Vivaldi, Schumann, Faure and Dominick Argento. The concert will take place at Lily Reid Holt Memorial Chapel, on College's Middle Campus, at the intersection of College and Sheridan roads in Lake Forest. The event is free and open to the public. Ms. Otterson is Professor of Voice at Edgewood College in Madison, WI, where she also serves as Music Director at Christ Presbyterian Church. Mr. Schmidt is conductor of the Lake Forest College Chamber Orchestra and is Music Director at American Girl Place Theatre in Chicago. Lake Forest College is a private liberal arts institution located 30 miles north of downtown Chicago. The College has 1,300 students representing 45 states and 43 other countries.
