Garrick Players Present The Food Chain

Lake Forest, Ill.-—The Garrick Players of Lake Forest College will perform Nicky Silver’s contemporary comedy, The Food Chain, on Thursday, February 27, through Saturday, March 1, in the Allan Carr Theater located in Hixon Hall on the College’s South Campus. Performances will be held at 8 p.m. nightly, with a 2 p.m. matinee on Saturday.

Acclaimed by critics when it premiered in 1995, The Food Chain, speaks of love, loss, and regret in a world in which gender does not matter. The play depicts a dog-eat-dog society in which the characters must remember their places in the food chain of survival.

Tickets for the performances are $7 for general admission, $3 for seniors, and free for Lake Forest College students, faculty, and staff with a valid ID. There will be a discussion held with the actors following the Friday night performance. For reservations and information please call 847-735-5216.
